I subscribe to Kathy Freston’s daily emails called “The Daily Lean.” She writes about everything from spirituality to healthy eating. My favorite posts of hers are the beautiful prayers and inspiring words she writes. This one, from today’s email, absolutely blew me away with its sheer transcendent beauty. It cut through every distracting emotion I was feeling and helped me to remember LOVE. I had to share it with everyone here knowing that it is something we all need to be reminded of… often.
Beware, this passage is super powerful:
“When you keep moving forward even when it’s painful, love comes for you. When you feel the fear and do the thing you know is right anyway, love comes for you. When you finally give up (really give up), exhausted from wanting something too much, love comes for you. When you free yourself from the old ways of staying small, love comes for you. When you pour yourself into doing the thing that makes you feel most alive and purposeful, love comes for you. When you open your heart to another and let the tenderness flow, not caring a whit if anything comes back to you, love comes for you. You’ll see.”
